High quality 16 x Cree 2525 (with heatsink) LED upgrade for SBC BA15D headlamp bulbs from the '20s to the '50s. 6 VOLT NEGATIVE EARTH APPLICATION. High and low beam - 1800 Lumen high beam, 1200 Lumen low beam - with a soft beam pattern.
One row of LEDs lights up on each side of the bulb for low beam and both rows of LEDs lights up on both sides for high beam, replicating original, unshielded, twin filament bulbs. Very low current draw - over 75% less than incandescent and halogen bulbs so great for low powered, vintage electrical systems (800mA at 12V, 1.6A at 6V). 3000K warm, white colour temperature.
This bulb is a great LED upgrade alternative to 6V bulbs B168 (24/24W) and B170B (36/36W). In testing, these lamps were significantly brighter than incandescent bulb B170B 36/36W, with over 50% more light output. Made from aviation grade aluminium.
These bulbs don't have an integral lens so can be used in tripod or Bi-flex type lamps. Total bulb length 65mm, with a 12 x 25mm LED section. 15mm diameter cap. If your lamps doesn't have a biflex bar or tripod arrangement, please consider part number BA15DLED-H30L and BA15DLED-H43L, which are also great with tired reflectors, as the integral lens on these LEDs focusses its own beam.
