High performance CSP 1860 LED upgrade for British Pre-focus headlamp bulbs with the P36D base. Integral heatsink. Accepts 11 to 60V input voltage - optimised for 12V, negative OR positive earth systems. High and low beam - 1600 Lumen high beam, 1600 Lumen low beam - with a soft beam pattern. In testing, much brighter (LUX measurement at fixed distance) than B370 (45/40W).
The LED layout is designed to match the original filament layout, including low beam filament shield. The lamp produces a good high and low beam pattern - with the dip pattern governed by the lamp lens. Very low current draw - over 75% less than incandescent and halogen bulbs so great for low powered, vintage electrical systems. 4300K classic, warm white colour temperature.
Not ideal for Tripod headlamps, in which instance use P36DLED-S30 for suitable beam pattern for Tripod Headlamps
This bulb is a great LED alternative to a number of 12 and 24V british Pre-focus bulbs with dipped beam filament shields including B370, B414B and B437. Made from aviation grade aluminium.
These bulbs don't have an integral lens so can be used in tripod type lamps. Please see part number P36DLED-P43-6 for a 6V, negative or positive earth version. Please see part numbers P36DLED-S30 and P36DLED-S43 for British Pre-focus headlamp bulbs with twin transverse filaments without filament shields. And P36DLED-H30L and P36D0LED-H43L for warm and bright white LED upgrade lamps with integral lenses. 77mm total bulb height. 20mm diameter cap.
