Reproduction part equivalent to Lucas TS82 panel and column mounted rotary 3-way indicator/Trafficator switch. Alternative Lucas number 31611 (also 31379 is the same switch body just with a longer lever used for column mounting only). Flat circular base mount 40mm diameter with two 3.5mm holes at 32 mm centres to enable mounting. Three brass terminal connections to rear complete with brass grub screws.
Purchase with a choice of optional mounting plates - part numbers TS82-DASH for flush fitting or TS82-S58, an alternative base plate with two down-turned mounting tabs enabling the fitting of the switch to the Lucas S58 column mounted stalk that also featured a combined horn and dip switch. The switch was also fitted to other steering column-mounted control arms including the Lucas models SC60 and SC76A/1 - noting as above, that some applications featured the version with a slightly longer thumb lever - though the body, mounting arrangement and function are the same as this shorter lever version, suited to both stalk and dash fitting.
Unlike SD84/SPB120 switches, the TS82 does not have a light to show that the indicators are working, so a visible 'indicator on' warning light - or buzzer for an audible warning - should be fitted. Please see example part numbers 842, 0609 or BUZZ. Domed raised body assembly with a moulded lever. Black bakelite with a very high-quality finish and positive switch action. Overall size 40mm wide x 35mm high.
