High performance CSP 1860 LED upgrade for Bosch and Lucas headlamp bulbs with the BA20D base. Integral heatsink. Accepts 5 to 9V input voltage - optimised for 6V, negative earth systems. High and low beam - 1600 Lumen high beam, 1600 Lumen low beam - with a soft beam pattern. In testing, brighter (LUX measurement at fixed distance) than BT527 (45/40W).
The LED layout is designed to match the original filament layout, including low beam filament shield. The lamp produces a good high and low beam pattern - with the dip pattern governed by the lamp lens. Very low current draw - over 75% less than incandescent and halogen bulbs so great for low powered, vintage electrical systems. 4300K classic, warm white colour temperature.
This bulb is a great LED alternative to a number of 6V bulbs including BT519, B392B, BT520, B393B, B393H (Halogen), BT521 and BT527. Made from aviation grade aluminium. These bulbs don't have an integral lens so can be used in tripod type lamps. Please see part number BA20DLED-P43 for a 12V, negative earth version.
