Small, flexible/shockproof rubber bodied rear lamp equivalent to the old Rubbolite No.5 model for vintage motorcycles or as an auxiliary rear lamp for small cars. The rubber body is fitted with a single ended, double contact, chrome plated bulb holder that accepts SBC/BA15D bulbs. The rear nut on the holder is removed to expose the terminal contacts. It also features a plastic tail/cable feed through. The lamp features a slotted rubber tab to allow mounting on the edge of sheet metal (e.g. a number plate) up to 2mm thick. A useful rear lamp and good reproduction of the Lucas MT110 model used on motorcycles, though offering other useful applications as additional number plate illumination etc. The prismatic red lens (32mm diameter) has a chrome rim, the black metal body ( 44mm diameter) has side number plate illumination. Double contact bulb holder - so stop/tail bulb compatible. The mounting flange (approx 65mm diameter) has three holes for fixing. It is designed so that the portion of lamp protrudes behind mounting flange by 23mm. The bulbholder is accessed by twisting off the rear flange body. Ex WD original Butler tail lamp, used on Austin Champ as a blackout side lamp, some motorcycles and vintage Bedford's, supplied in a red oxide finish the lamp is 90mm long x 58mm wide x 50mm tall, with a 14mm dia x 38mm long hollow mounting stud. Toby chrome ST38/'Pork Pie' type lamp with standard (three BA15S) bulb holder arrangement, fitted with a LED light board and split Red/Amber lens for Stop, Tail, INDICATOR Number Plate illumination operation. Suitable for 6 or 12V, Negative Earth vehicles. The product features a main, circular RED and AMBER light board with a centre slot that fits over/locates on the vertical partition of the triple bulb holder bolted into the ST38 body. An additional WHITE LED light board is attached perpendicular to the main board to provide number plate illumination. Uses BA15S bulbs - for spare bulbs please see our B317 (6v) stop/indicator, B205 (6v) side/number plate light or B382 (12v) stop/indicator B207 (12v) side/number plate light. These lamps can be upgraded with part number 211-CONV which converts the bottom bulb holder to a double contact BAY15D fitting - allowing use of a twin filament bulb behind the lower red section of the main lens, providing stop, tail and number plate light functions, leaving the upper amber section for indicator/turn signal function for red/amber lensed lamps. For red/red lensed lamps, either the tail or stop function can be doubled up with the extra filament. --
